...the website of Teeny Tiny Press and Amanda Laughtland

Hello, my name is Amanda Laughtland. I'm a Seattle-based poet, small
press publisher, collage artist, and writing teacher. In 2001, I
started publishing short poems and prose pieces in a zine called Teeny Tiny, and Teeny Tiny Press
has grown to become an independent publisher of both professionally
printed and handmade books of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction.
For my latest projects, please visit my teeny tiny blog. See also my Etsy shop where I have some books, zines, and collage work for sale.
My partner Trish and I keep another blog called Hands off Bees
to share our experiences with backyard beekeeping using organic and
natural methods. Trish is a beekeeper, and she also builds
beehives.
Postcards to
Box 464, my book-length collection of poetry inspired by vintage postcards, was published by
Bootstrap. For more information, including reviews of the book and how to get a signed copy, visit the Postcards page.
Find individual poems from my postcards book via my poems page, as well as links to a number of other poems published online, including the full text of two collections of my poems
available as free e-books: Vital
to Victory and Take
It.
See my flickr page for examples of collages I've made. I love working with vintage magazines and recycled materials.
When I'm not writing poems or making collages, I sometimes
write nonfiction, and here are a few published clips.
What's my day job? I've taught at Edmonds
Community College since 2004, and I'm faculty adviser to the college literary/arts
magazine, Between the
Lines.
If you live in the Seattle area, you're welcome to submit your written
and/or visual artwork to the magazine.
Please email
me for more information about any of the
above or just to say hello.
Oh, and you can find me on Twitter, too.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my website!
